🎨 About Lia
Hi there!
I'm Lia :)
What initially drew you to art and how did you begin your artistic journey?
When I was a kid I used to watch a lot of cartoons and the process of animation always amazed me. I remember a specific moment when I was around 13 where I was trying to draw Steven Universe on my school notebook and thought to myself, "even if it looks bad now, it'll only improve from there" and ever since that point I never let go of the pencil.
Can you share a bit about your background and how you identify within the LGBTQ+ spectrum?
I currently identify as a Panromantic Demisexual Demigirl. I'm okay with being perceived as a girl although internally I don’t feel that way.
Who or what in the LGBTQ+ community has been a significant inspiration for your work?
Probably obvious from the last question but very early on, Rebecca Sugar influenced my art a lot growing up. I love her artstyle and generally how creative her concepts are!
What’s your dream project or collaboration?
I'd love to make more products with my art and be involved in more animation projects someday. Maybe even make my own stories to tell!
